Whitfield Gibbons (the person that Graptemys gibbonsi is named after) have submitted this report to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.  It is a very important document that shows how U.S. native turtles are in need of protection and conservation efforts.  There is a lot of information concerning the commercial trade of Graptemys species.
